Je viens de finir un très bon roman de James Ross « Une poire pour la soif » paru en 1940. C'est son seul roman édité. Très bon style, à lire dans le contexte de l'époque. L’histoire se passe dans une petite ville de Caroline du nord, en pleine dépression. Il n’a pas été bien reçu à sa sortie, l'Amérique n'y est pas présentée de façon flatteuse.
