I finally got around to write a small writeup of JCrete 2025
My #JCrete25 takeaways:
1. Not enough people know about
@radicle yet - need to start submitting proposals to conferences / meetups to start spreading the word,
2. Entry-level devs are going to have a **HARD** time in next few years: GenAI tools help experts, not amateurs. 👈 This is a great excuse for execs to avoid hiring. Yes, this is short-sighted and yes, it will, unfortunately, happen... :(
Morning run on Day 4 of JCrete 2025 with Grzegorz
Day two of JCrete 2025 started with a traditional morning run with Andres and Grzegorz
OH:
- #GenAI is a force multiplier
- Sorry, did you say "force", or "fools" ?
"Network Neighbourhood" !!
Wow! It had been a LONG while since I'd heard that !!

#Java peers:
Today kicks off the beginning of #JCrete, one of THE BEST Java unconferences out there. Put on by @HeinzKabutz, it brings together some of the best minds in the Java community to share, discuss, & collaborate. If you're lucky enough to attend, you're in for a treat!
