Ferienrückblick.

Und hier kommen sie, die Vögel, wegen denen die meisten wohl die #IsleOfMay besuchen. #Papageientaucher! Auch sie sind Alkenvögel, wie die Trottellummen und Tordalke von gestern. Auch sie sehen etwas aus wie Pinguine.

Die Kliff-Komiker*innen waren natürlich die Favoriten der Kinder.

Heuer waren sogar besonders viele Brutpaare auf der Insel.

Kleiner Ferienrückblick.

Federvieh auf der #IsleOfMay.

Heute ein paar Alkenvögel (Trottellumme/Guillemot und Tordalk/Razorbill), aber ja, noch nicht der Alkenvogel, auf den ihr alle wartet 😉

Trottellummen brüten übrigens wie Pinguine, mit dem Ei auf den Füssen. Quasi die Nord-Pinguine.

Tordalken mag ich auch sehr, leider hab ich keinen mit offenem Schnabel erwischt. Der ist nämlich innen knallgelb.

Und passend zum #MeerMittwoch.

Auf unserer Überfahrt auf die #IsleOfMay gleich mal die erste Überraschung. Eine Gruppe von Delfinen (Grosse Tümmler) tauchte gleich neben unserem Boot auf und hat uns eine Weile begleitet.
