Cillian Murphy refuses to shake hands with Harry Windsor/Saxe-Coburg.
I don't know about this. Assuming that he doesn't have some other reason, they had a fight at a party in LA for example, is this a fair gesture to protest against the role of the British monarchy in Ireland over the centuries or just rude?

In what I think of as the best tradition of #IrishRepublicanism, there is an empathy for exploited and subjugated people around the world because of the history of British colonial rule in #Ireland.
In the USA this sometimes morphs into the belief that, because of things like #IndenturedServitude, the #Irish in America had it just as bad as #BlackPeople so #IrishAmericans do not have to think of themselves as having benefited from #WhitePrivilege.
