I've said it before. If you take environmental protests as an example, we know exactly what it looks like when the Gardaí actually want to move people on.
In the face of that (along with the speed at which refugee tents are cleared), the fact that the Coolock camp had been allowed to remain in place for weeks, and the racist roadblocks elsewhere in the country were permitted to go ahead without Garda intervention, reveals a pretty sinister double-standard.
