Took a drive out to Kinvarra and beyond the day after the big storm. Trees down littered the route, sheds with no roofs and even drystone walls blown down on Aughinish Island.
This is what Galway bay looked like, shaken but not stirred... It was a a very scary night in the middle of the storm a reminder of how insignificant we are. Nature has the power to stop us in our tracks.
Still no electricity here in East Clare but otherwise we are all fine. #IrelandFirstWorldProblems
