Intempéries : un village évacué après une crue dévastatrice en Isère

Le hameau de La Bérarde, en Isère, a été dévasté par le passage d’un torrent, après de fortes pluies et une crue soudaine, aux alentours de 2 heures du matin, vendredi 21 juin. Habitants, alpinistes et randonneurs ont été évacués en hélicoptère.

I drew the conclusion that talking about the possible effects of #ClimateChange in a way that drives fear can eventually drive membership into such authoritarian leader cults. It is another basis that can contribute to the sense of fear behind this desire for strong, rule-breaking #authoritarian leadership. One may think that it is strange to couple the #Trump #cult to #climate change activism because he is so rooted against climate change policy, but it is a natural trend that we can start seeing as #SeaLevel rises, strong storms affect us, and #droughts and #inundations affect food availability. In fact, this line of thought made me think of the work of @kathhayhoe , who has written plenty about reaching people in the same way about climate change as this article suggests "deprogramming" fears of migrants and other issues at the heart of #Trumpism
