Running a open not locked down OS on any tech device is going to be illegal. I said to a friend in 2023 that soon you will need a license to run linux. Not a software licance but a government ID so they can keep tabs on people outside the corpro net. This is starting in the EU where the app for protecting the children will only run if the phone is okayed by Google. So android phones that have been flashed to a open os can run it and are locked out of any site that uses that verification. (unless you're one of the stupid people who rents their phone By paying a monthly fee to their carrier). This age gate can be placed on any website for any reason that the EU wants. There's no such thing as a slippery slope because this is not something we accidentally stumbled into. This is a carefully coordinated plan to slowly close down the internet because it was too much power for the pores. It gave rise to so many new people who had a voice and gives everyone a chance to access this information and it is slowly being eroded. We need to fight back.
