En Descifrando la Guerra mencionaron el otro día que, debido a que Irán había destruido varios radares de misiles en las bases del Golfo, Estados Unidos se vio obligada a trasladar radares desde Corea del Sur. Hoy llega la consecuencia:

It has to be stopped. The world can have a quiet Butlerian Jihad where we peacefully curb the tech sector's ability to skirt the law now - or we can have the bloody, destructive one that will inevitably happen at some point in the future if we let them build the technofeudalist society they clearly want.
I am distressed when I think about how my tax dollars are going toward this cruelty and destruction of the current Iran war. So I looked up about tax resistance and found the National War Resistance Coordinating Committee website https://nwtrcc.org/resist/consequences/
Here is a snippet from their page on the consequences of resisting war taxes:

If you continue to pay war taxes, you contribute to global insecurity, nuclear terrorism, and imperialism, you put innocent people in harm’s way, and you risk the moral injury of knowing that you are complicit in such things."

OK, but I need us to stop with the "This is very expensive" argument, because A. some people will think it's all just basically an accounting / priority issue & B. the cost is a distant consideration compared to the blatant immorality, inhumanity & criminality of this war.
This is a crime made out of a constantly growing number of other crimes & THAT is fucking why it has to end & the people responsible held to account.
This is ALL we should be talking about.
