4 years ago I bought a #kitchengadget that I still use today. It's a Bosch Autocook - basically an #inductioncooker with an integrated pot, lid, timer and thermostat. Excellent for risotto, stews, soups, warming things up, etc. Quite inexpensive - €85. Then Bosch dropped Autocook products 😞 and the online recipe book 😡, FFS.

I now see that Ninja is making a similar thing that can grill. Great for #tinykitchen & absent-minded cooks.

So the heat sensor in the main burner of the gas #CookTop has gone out. It will no longer stay lit, and the temperature control panel for deep-fry temp control is throwing an error. It will need to be replaced. Most of the cookware in the house will work with #inductuon, so it's time for the choice: replace the gas #hob, and probably the oven as well (the kit is very old) or shift to an electric #cooker.

So tell me: What would John Mastodon do?
