Big moment for Nigeria’s tech and language communities!

Nigeria has launched N-ATLAS v1, the country’s first open-source multilingual and multimodal large language model.

Announced on the sidelines of #UNGA80 by Dr. Bosun Tijani, the model supports Yoruba, Hausa, Igbo, and Nigerian-accented English. It was built by Awarri in partnership with NCAIR and NITDA.
