@AetherEgo I’m thinking that #osr design philosophy of presenting the world/setting instead of running a „story“ might be a cool approach for playing in pseudo-historical settings. Examples: #WolvesUponTheCoast (Luke Gearing) for a mythical version of the Dark Ages, #InTheLightOfASettingSun (J.B. Davis)

Day 3: First RPG You Bought This Year
#FrontierScum the Acid Western #ttrpg (Den of Druids 2023). I still owe a good friend a western oneshot. Plus: I‘m always on the lookout for the „best“ western ttrpg.
#SavageWorlds works smooth for emulating #spaghettiwesterns (pew-pew!). #CoyoteTrail did not get to me. Good ol #Gurps (too slow, pew-pew?), #InTheLightOfASettingSun (read it, but have not played yet)
