I've read In The Dream House By Carmen Maria Machado. Carmen does a brilliant job of getting you to understand and feel what it is like to be in an abusive relationship and feel completely trapped.
In this book each chapter uses a different narrative lens to tell the story, i was not a fan of that.. It was like stopping and starting a new story every other page.
Has anyone read this what are were your thoughts?
