I.A. Richards who came up with the simple but deep English Through Pictures and Graded Direct Method for EFL mentions Jaeger too. Richards asked Jaeger why the Ancient Greeks seems so inventive or productive or something. Maybe the Ancients managed a series of decent transformations quicker than one would expect, that's how the background for the questions feels.. Jaeger's reply was "#WithdrawalAndReturn." People worked and thought hard in their place, went to visit other places where people were doing the same, then came back to keep thinking? #IaR

From 1932, C.K. Ogden's little book _Opposition: A Linguistic and Psychological Analysis_ with an introduction by I.A. Richards. I keep thinking I should give the diagrams some thought and attention. It will be good to work toward an understanding of the diagrams and notation on page 16 of the book.
