I've been using Plan 9 to dig deeper into historical systems and UNIX in general. I will just keep buying old textbooks before I even think of something that could include massive errors/oversights.

Devine Lu LinvegaAndrew Gibson(adventuresin9)'s talk yesterday at #iwp9 about file systems gave me so many ideas, but one thing that struck me was his highlighting BeOS' metadata.
It makes it possible to use files as contacts, recipes, playlists, anything really and view these tags in the file manager. IT'S SO COOL, I want to build that for myself now.
