Ooh, that was good! We watched Black Box or Boite Noire (iPlayer) this evening.

Very enjoyable film. Edge of seat stuff with a didn't-expect-that-to-happen included in it!

Ok, so just watched Rye Lane (iPlayer) and it is very, very good!

A couple of young people on the bad side of break-ups, meet up and have a much needed laugh, until...

If you need something light-hearted, I hugely recommend this (shortish) film.

Watched Respect last night. We both really loved it. Jennifer Hudson plays the part excellently.

Aretha Franklin is referred to as The Queen Of Soul but for me she is the woman who told women to demand respect, both in relationships and in life. 👏💪

Thoroughly recommend if you've not already seen it.

It's incredible to think, that we understand Petra as being a world heritage site and a tourist attraction but once upon a time Petra was a vibrant centre of commerce, innovation and life.

Petra is located in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and was featured in 'Civilizations', a 2018 BBC documentary by historian Simon Schama. I wonder how many empires Petra has now outlived?
