All my personal computing devices have:

- Public, static, IPv6 address
- A fully qualified domain name

This is what the internet is meant to be. Anything else is capitalistic oppression.

Iinet service really is abysmal nowadays. The internet just went down today and both Deb and I are facing a number of deadlines. Checked with NBN, yep they have scheduled upgrades for the next 10 days. They claim to have told retailers but Iinet never bothered to let us know. Way to lose another customer!

NBN will/may be rolling out full fibre next month so now's a perfect time to swap suppliers. Over 20 years and this is just another sign TPG are running Iinet into the ground.

Investment in #renewableenergy has been held back for decades by financial modelling that suggested switching from #fossilfuels to #cleanenergy would be expensive. However, recent #INET #Oxford research identified significant flaws in those earlier forecasts. ➡️https://www.inet.ox.ac.uk/news/reconsidering-renewables-retv-film-on-inet-oxford-research/
