I've recently learned that when I get overwhelmed, I can regain a sense of calm by talking to myself in my head, if that makes any sense. Not sure if it's because I spent so much time alone as a child that I developed the habit of talking to myself (outloud!). I start a convo inside my head and it's a lot like my "I am alone" thought. I'm more grounded and much calmer. #IAmAlone
