Finally read the little instruction booklet for the hydrogen water bottle. It’s very simple, but I was worried it would be more complicated and I wanted to make sure I had my brain in to know what I was doing.

Anyway, rinsed it, filled it, plugged in, turned it on and made sure the tiny vent hole on the base was overhanging the edge of the speaker (been used as a shelf for a few years because the sofa is next to the shelving unit housing my dad’s hifi).

It defaults to six minutes and I forget which concentration of hydrogen that is. It lights up while it works and cycles through the entire spectrum of coloured light like a watery lava lamp. Very fun.

Drank it, tastes fine, first hurdle cleared. The reviewer did say it was fine. The first sip made me feel tired, unless that was bad timing. Does anything not 😏 Feel fine, so now we wait to see if it does anything.

My hydrogen water bottle arrived today. Second attempt ordering for Amazon US to deliver to the UK. When I tried a few weeks ago, nothing happened, I got a refund and then they thought to change the listing to “unavailable”.

Then it popped up again and still £50 less than UK sellers, all of whom are very new or have horrendous reviews for not delivering products. I could have tried eBay, but anyway this worked.

When I looked for reviews, UK websites are generic, idk who wrote them (robots?) I found an informative site by a woman who’s tried various of these for years so I only knew much about American manufacturers.

Went with one by Purepebrix (I don’t get the name either). Most options for levels of hydrogenation.

An info label sitting inside says the drop of water is on purpose, but it was dry so when I took the little cap off the base, I was still surprised by the splash. The base bit needs to stay moist.

The water’s meant to help with energy. We can only hope.

Debating ordering a hydrogen water bottle from America since the UK sellers are all terrible. The recommended brands are only on Amazon and eBay.

I ordered one weeks ago and now that I’ve cancelled it, since nothing happened, they’ve updated that it’s not available 🤦🏻‍♀️
