Eda Haydaroglu started an indefinite hunger strike in front of the Federal Ministry of Justice in Berlin on 18.03.2023.

Ilgin Güler and Sevil Sevimli Güler from France, have also joined the hunger strike ,two months after Eda started, with the same demands.

All three are currently sleeping in a tent in front of the Federal Ministry of Justice, protesting against paragraph 129a/b StGB.

They want to use their hunger to draw attention to injustices in the German justice system, pointing to problems that affect the ongoing 129B trial in Düsseldorf.

Last year in May, three anti-fascists from Turkey, Özgül Emre (journalist), Serkan Küpeli (student) and Ihsan Cibelik (musician with Grup Yorum) were arrested. Since then, they have been in pre-trial detention. Their trial started on 14.06.2023 in the OLG in Düsseldorf. The hunger strikers and also the lawyers say that this trial proves a good example of the sense and class justice in Germany, and call everyone to accompany and observe the trial.

Eda Haydaroglu, Ilgin Güler and Sevil Sevimli Güler demand the abolition of the Paragraph 129 and the lifting of the pre-trial detention of their comrades Özgül, Ihsan and Serkan.

Paragraph 129 opens the door to any arbitrary application in judicial terms. The state uses this paragraph as an instrument to destroy anti-fascist struggles and to silence them.

They can criminalize any democratic activities with these paragraphs.

This is an attack on our fundamental rights and freedoms!
As long as this paragraph exists, there can be no fair and independent trial!

That means the fight against this paragraph is a fight for all of us!

Eda’s resistance reaches its 200th day on October 3.

200 days of HUNGER STRIKE!

Eda Haydaroglu hat am 18.03.2023 einen unbefristeten Hungerstreik vor dem Bundesjustizministerium in Berlin begonnen.

Ilgin Güler und Sevil Sevimli Güler aus Frankreich, haben sich auch dem Hungerstreik ,zwei Monate nachdem Eda angefangen hat, mit den selben Forderungen angeschlossen.

Alle drei schlafen momentan vor dem Bundesministerium der Justiz in einem Pavillon und protestieren gegen den Paragraphen 129a/b StGB.

Sie möchten mit ihrem Hunger auf Ungerechtigkeiten im deutschen Justizsystem aufmerksam machen und deuten dabei auf Probleme hin, die das laufende 129B Verfahren in Düsseldorf betreffen.

Letztes Jahr im Mai wurden drei türkeistämmige Antifaschisten, Özgül Emre (Journalistin), Serkan Küpeli (Student) und Ihsan Cibelik (Musiker bei Grup Yorum) verhaftet. Seitdem befinden sie sich in U-Haft. Ihr Verfahren hat am 14.06.2023 im Düsseldorfer OLG angefangen. Die Hungerstreikenden und auch die Anwälte sagen, dass dieses Verfahren ein gutes Beispiel für die Gesinnungs- und Klassenjustiz in Deutschland, beweist und rufen alle zur Prozessbegleitung und -Beobachtung.

Eda Haydaroglu, Ilgin Güler und Sevil Sevimli Güler fordern dass die Gesinnungsparagraphen 129 abgeschaffen werden und dass die Untersuchungshaft ihrer Genossen Özgül, Ihsan und Serkan aufgehoben wird.

Der Paragraph 129 öffnet die Tür für jegliche Willkür. Diesen Paragraphen nutzt der Staat als Instrument aus, um antifaschistische Kämpfe zu zerstören und sie mundtot zu machen.

Sie können mit diesen Paragraphen jegliche demokratische Aktivitäten kriminalisieren.

Dies ist ein Angriff auf unsere fundamentalen Rechte und Freiheiten!
Solange es diesen Paragraphen gibt, kann es kein faires und unabhängiges Verfahren geben!

Das heißt der Kampf gegen diesen Paragraphen ist ein Kampf für uns alle!

Eda‘s Widerstand erreicht am 3. Oktober seinen 200. Tag.
