With A Distant Life, The Murder Capital offers one last glimpse into Blindness (out via Human Season Records). Frontman James McGovern wrote the lyrics in transit, inspired by a podcast discussing Margaret Atwood’s All Bread. He wanted the music to feel naive and unaffected, like love itself. Standing behind a Liverpool venue, he asked guitarist Irv to play two chords back and forth, and the song took shape instantly.
