J'ai aussi mis les shift sur la homerow, et je commence à avoir des automatisme. Est-ce que c'est mieux d'avoir Ctrl sur la homerow ?
Est-ce que la touche shift sous les pouce c'est une bonne idée ? Et dans ce cas là faut-il le gauche-droite ?
Coté arsenik/kanata je ne trouve pas de config shift sur homerow... ou j'ai mal cherché ?
Je suis tenté de commencer à apprendre le 3x5 en enlevant des keycaps de mon split...
Vous faites comment ?

I took a deeper dive into mod-tapping and home row mods. Absolutely fascinating and useful, even without an ergo/split keyboard.
I put the 'shift' keys on F/J, and 'AltGr' on G/H (for Umlauts with EurKey). I also put some symbols like '{'or '[' and the arrow keys on a second layer and use 'Caps lock' to switch to that layer on hold.
The only downside to is that I have to relearn my layout a little bit which means my typing speed went down considerably.

@BonfireAtNight you might consider custom #mechanicalkeyboards with #ZMK or #QMK now :)
I've been using CAPsLock for layout switch for ages on my #WASD keyboards; now as I moved to custom mechanical keyboards; #ZSAPlank -> #BlankSlate -> #Corne ; mapped bottom left key(third layer key on first two and shift on corne) to do it on tap as well.
Though as now moving to #homerow, thinking I can utilize that key for something else :)
P.S. check CAPs_Word on ZMK or QMK :)
