So I have been putting into Zotero my books in my home library. I have only done books and not journal volumes (yet) and have to admit I am shocked. So I have completed all my Lepidoptera (butterfly and moth) and have 158 books, many identification guides and atlas's.
I have most probably done all books on Lepidoptera, Odonata, Hymenoptera and Hiking and have 324 books and still have a loads more to do.
Let's fill the world with beautiful Hebrew! ๐โจ
Thank you Russell for sharing my books in your meaningful library!
There's something so powerful about seeing Hebrew learning materials nestled among other treasured books -
It shows how Hebrew connects us to thousands of years of wisdom, culture, and heritage.
Hebrew isn't just a language -
It's a bridge to understanding, a key to ancient wisdom, and a way to connect hearts across the globe.
Every person who learns Hebrew adds another light to the world! ๐
I'd love to see YOUR Hebrew books in their special place!
Share photos or videos of your Hebrew learning journey and send them to [email protected] or DM me.
Let's inspire each other and show the world how Hebrew is spreading everywhere!
Who else has Hebrew books on their shelf? Show me! ๐๐ฎ๐ฑ
If you have a large home library, what system, if any, do you use to organize your books? We have between 1,500 and 2,000 books with maybe half or more of thar nonfiction with roughly the biggest categories being art, philosophy, reference, and how to. Quite a lot of zines and ephemera which present some storage problems. Also a lot of poetry.
I used to have a personal system when it was just me and I had fewer books but it always broke down. Now Iโm wondering, should I use Library of Congress categories for the nonfiction? Something else? Iโm not looking to catalogue everything. This isnโt a lending library. I just want to find things on my shelves.
DAY 4 of my nonfiction home library makeover ๐โจ
welcome to my new favourite room!
when you read as much as i do, a comfortable reading nook is everything, and this armchair is hands down the cosiest spot in my apartment.
iโm very much in love with my dream library, and i canโt wait to tackle my ever growing TBR.
speaking of which, what book are you currently most excited about? and whom would you recommend it to?
watching these shelves go up is like seeing my bookish dreams come to life!! i am way too excited and completely obsessed with the result!
