I read this as "Zigbee sniffed my hand" and I was thinking about a whole litter of such named cats. "Aww, Matter is over Threads".
Specifically these new things enable some great automations:
Heat / cool the house while I'm out or automatically use excess solar energy. Thanks to the Zigbee IR blaster thingumy.
Get notified via Telegram, reliably, about important things: that water detector under the sink / in the basement, smoke detector, unusual presence detection scenarios (doors or windows opened while gates still shut) (i.e. burglary!)
A quick post about a simple remote I made for Home Assistant with ESPHome

@unixorn @Stewart @homeassistant I use #rabbitmq for a lot of stuff not just #homeautomaton including real time tracking of every train in the UK, the international space station and other metrics.
It allows me to integrate it to a central logging system so I can also have #grafana dashboards & alerts.
Some devices are not mqtt aware like the Geiger counter but do work over amqp.
So for me rabbit is more flexible.
