Just finished chapter two of #Raiders of the #Deep. A #fascinating read but I still find myself flicking the chapters as a reference book for SM UB-55 & SM UB-57. LOL! Chapter two is watch officer; #Johann #Speiss’ account of his #German side of the “Three Before Breakfast” book (https://www.abebooks.co.uk/book-search/title/three-before-breakfast/author/alan-coles/). I didn’t know HMS #Aboukir, HMS #Hogue and HMS #Cressy (in that order) were the 2nd, 3rd and 4th ships sunk by U-boat #torpedo after HMS #Pathfinder by SM U-21 in #WWI. #Uboat #WW1 #WreckDiving
