The Discworld-themed weekend in Wales for the Hog's Ball was wonderfully Hogswatchy. I was gift gorgeous crocheted dragons. Bought a shawl, had a tin type portrait photograph done that will outlive us all. Crafted and chatted. Raised money for a good cause. Laughed deeply. Welled up with emotion at the toasts for Terry and other absent friends. Caught up with old friends, and very old friends, and made new ones.

Before that I've the wonderful #IDWCon in October and then August next year will have #DWCon. Fantastic way to spend my holidays, hanging out with people with a sense of humour, a sense of justice, and a sense of fun.
