High Energy Vintage on Instagram: "Here is a little update on the fire and where things are at. I’m trying to remain positive, and keep my energy high™️, but having a hard time right now. No work has started on rehabbing the store, electricity hasn’t even been restored yet. The hold up is from insurance investigators who want to try to get money from the company that made the vent fan that caught fire. That is fine enough, but it’s keeping us closed longer. There is talk of ripping out the tin walls due to smoke damage inside, that’s heartbreaking and sounds like it will take a long time too. Things are starting to sound like months and not weeks, and it’s very discouraging. Here is some good news, we have lots of undamaged inventory that was stored in our market trailer and our storage space! You can catch us in downtown Boston at @neopenmarkets (who were very kind to donate space for us) Boston Open Market on Saturday 10/5 10/12 10/26.
