I just really like #Transformers #Titansreturn. Here is a #short look at #Hardhead, it's a cool toy and I put stickers on it, that is all.
A duck tale in four frames:
What do you mean you don't think I can do the thing?
I'm going to do the thing!
I'm doin' it! Look!
Told you I could do the thing.
Australian Pelican flying low over the main UQ lake on Friday. In the foreground is a Hardhead, just bobbing about, and to the left, an upset Pacific Black Duck chasing something off-camera.

On the UQ Lake this morning there were a pair of Hardheads swimming along and occasionally diving below the surface. This one, sporting a fine array of water droplets on its back, had only just popped up from underwater a moment before.
A few birds from my walk around the lake this arvo (returning from the other side of campus from a job)
We have a Hardhead (and its reflection); a Dusky Moorhen chick; an Australian White Ibis (aka Bin Chicken), washing itself; a Magpie Lark (aka Peewee)

A lone Hardhead (dark brown duck with white eyes) was swimming around on the lake yesterday. This morning though, there was a Bush Stone-curlew hiding under a bush, and some Dusky Moorhen chicks learning to forage from their parents.

Also spotted on campus this morning, the bully of the parrot world, a Rainbow Lorikeet;
a Buff-banded Rail stalking through the undergrowth, and a Hardhead shaking a tailfeather.

There are a pair of Hardheads that have taken up residence in the lake at work.
They're a bit skittish, swimming further out in to the lake when you walk anywhere near them.
Anyway, as you can see, they have that classic dog-faced duck bill thing happening.
