The U.S.S. Constitution usually sits well behind a floating barrier. But this week she moved up while work was done on her berth and I could paddle under the tip of her bowsprit.
She's half-rigged as usual; maybe adding and subtracting rigging helps keep the crew busy.
The brick Hoosac Stores building to her left will soon be demolished and replaced by a new visitor center for the frigate and the Boston navy yard overall.

Spent some time in the city yesterday, which was fun. Should do that more often, as it is only a 10 minute drive (on a good day) down the highway. Wife went on a company outing on a harbor boat, so I went along the #HarborWalk, which is awfully nice. Then we met up at the Bostonia Public House, which is a pretty nice restaurant / bar. Their house #lager wasn't too bad. And the sticky spice ribs were really good.
