Monica Bellucci said that growing old is interesting, but what the heck! Young people, know that old age is “a crazy mess,” there’s nothing positive about it…: the irony of Fiorello.
Is old age beautiful? That’s what more and more stars say. Most recently, Monica Bellucci, who at Cannes, when asked how she deals with time passing, responded: “You either age or you die, there are no other possibilities.” And Fiorello, during yesterday’s episode of *La Pennicanza*, read some of the actress’s statements along the lines of: “I was struck by Monica Bellucci saying ‘more free with mature age’ and then ‘aging is interesting.’ “Aging is interesting, a nice message,” Biggio noted. “But what?” Fiorello countered. He then added: “Come on, let’s finish this, Monica, these are the things we say when we start to age to reassure ourselves that we are old but we don't care that we are old and we start flattering old age.” Biggio: “But we young people believe when you tell us those things.” “You young people, who?” Fiorello retorted before concluding: “Young, know that old age is a ‘crazy crap’… there’s nothing positive about it. Someone says ‘no, but you know, now I have experience,’ and what does experience matter to me? I remember when I didn’t have experience, it was a wonder. I didn’t have pain, nothing. I got up, sat on the bed, and my head didn’t spin. I got up and sat down, I bent over to tie my shoelaces, now I only do it after the Brufen has taken effect.”

An ultrasound patch can monitor the fetus.
AGI - A soft, wearable ultrasound patch allows for monitoring of the fetus for several hours, even in the presence of continuous movements during pregnancy.
Scientists from the University of California San Diego and Stanford University developed it, publishing the results of their work in the journal Nature Biotechnology.
Benefits for High-Risk Pregnancies
The team, led by Geonho Park, Yizhou Bian, Hao Huang, Sheng Xu, and Sai Zhou, designed a device that could simplify fetal monitoring, help doctors identify early complications in high-risk pregnancies, and expand access to prenatal care in resource-limited settings. “The wearable ultrasound technology – says Park – has the potential to enable continuous prenatal monitoring and improve pregnancy outcomes in ways previously impossible.”
Continuous and Real-Time Monitoring Without a Manual Probe
Currently, most prenatal ultrasounds provide only brief snapshots of fetal health and require specialized personnel to operate the equipment. The new ultrasound patch is instead designed to adhere to the body and continuously monitor the fetus’s anatomy and blood flow in real-time, without the need to manually guide an ultrasound probe.
