Repair time!
The magnetic clasp on my daughter's bag started to tear through, because it was only anchored on one side to a _very_ thin layer of fabric, so it's time for some embarrassingly over-sewed mending!

I've replaced the damaged section of the casing, but only minimal effort to beautify the rough outer edge. The goal here was to make it functional. Although if I had any tape like the rest of the seat back is finished with I might be tempted to do that, too π
Not Kona (a cat) this time! A porcupine spent the winter in our kayak and for some reason decided to snack on the seat back cover.

3/lots I have cut out some dress fabric: - with a toy like this which is playable I need to make the clothes robust and removable so I may make a full wardrobe for her. Changing clothes is a fun game.
It could be full time job mending the holes Kona chews into fabrics. It's a good thing she's so sweet!
This required a patch on the inside, so it wouldn't catch on things being shoved into the pocket, and one on the outside, where it wouldn't be ugly.
I still need to get my hands on that fabric to make a strip to attach on it. Frequent moving between places makes it difficult to get things done.
My favorite pair of home pants developed holes on one thigh. This shall not be borne!
I've been trying #VisibleMending lately, so here's another try. The biggest leaf is large enough to cover all of the holes, but I wanted to add two more leaves for pure visual balance, and embroidered some decorative elements as well.
