Hopefully in 2023 a completely new initiative is born to create a truly safe space and events to amplify artists and marginalized voices in the 2SLGBTQ+ community, not a platform to gain notoriety among the community, profit and try to work out unresolved past traumas.
Like I said on my resignation letter, I don't have it in me to help create that, full support to those who have the will.

About #HalifaxPride: I burn that bridge about a year and a half ago now, and it was the best decision I could make. There are too many issues with staff and BOD members, both past and present, to list here, plus there is an NDA so I am not even sure how much I am allowed to share.
But is probably for the better if the Halifax Pride Society dies with 2022.
