Parts 55-58 of the #HachettePartworks #Dalek have arrived. Three wheels now done and the lamp reflectors screwed into place. #DoctorWho

Parts 51-54 of the #HachettePartworks #Dalek build arrived today. The first wheel is assembled with the other three half done. I’ve temporarily bolted the wheel assemblies to the base to keep everything together. #DoctorWho

I contacted #HachettePartworks to see if I could order additional parts to catch up with the #Dalek subscription. Parts 39 to 50 arrived today. So I’ll be having fun tonight. Also got the next binder and a 20th anniversary coin. #DoctorWho

Parts 27 to 30 of the #HachettePartworks #Dalek arrived today. Eventually the dome will sit on top. Already it’s almost 40cm. #DoctorWho

Parts 19-22 of the #HachettePartworks #Dalek also arrived. I painted the back wall metallic black, the cylinders gunmetal and the tubes copper. #DoctorWho

Instead of receiving parts 11-14 of the #HachettePartworks #Dalek, I received parts 15-18 🤷🏻‍♂️. The control centre is a bit plain so I painted it Gunmetal and weathered it slightly by giving it a wash of Burnt Iron, followed by dry brushing Steel and Copper, then a blending coat of Gunmetal. Despite being a model builder, I’m admittedly not that great at weathering. #DoctorWho
