I have an HP Envy and the internal battery has failed.

tl;dr - I want to connect with someone knowledgeable about internal laptop batteries.

I know the part number, and HP says its "unorderable" and gives me the names of authorized resellers.

I am not finding it on those sites, either. One site has an aftermarket product they swear is equivalent for ~ $250 US.

Putting the part # in Ebay, I get a consistent part that they say is equivalent priced from $25-60 US.

Micro Center has two that they say are equivalent, priced at $55ish US and have the same part number I'm seeing on eBay.

Hardware is not my area of expertise. I'm looking for someone who can advise me on this.
