Time for a new #introduction post! I am a #linguist working as a data scientist in #tech, focusing on all things #HCOMP.

I have a #PhD in #linguistics from MIT and I spent several years in the academic precariat. I am passionate about #mentoring, especially illuminating diverse career paths for academics. I am currently also the chair of the Linguistic Society of America's Committee on Gender Equity in Linguistics.

And I have two #cats, Bugsy and Doobie!

Now, enjoying the amazing keynote from @jeffbigham at HCOMP.

Jeff presented our research on tools to measure the digital labor conditions of crowdworkers (e.g.,hourly wages) to then fight for change!
