#Fesshole. The carers brought in a lovely friendly labrador ‘therapy dog’ to my old mother’s room. I took the opportunity of reminding her of our old dog Sandy. She explained to the carers that my late father was a shooting man and that the animal was given away on account of being ‘gun-shy’, I was six at the time. They left not long afterwards.
