The comfortably-wealthy also don’t realize how little influence they have over politics. A few grand in donations from a millionaire gets them nothing. The equivalant percentage from a billionaire gets them #GrowSF and the Governor on speed dial.

I am shocked, shocked to find that the VC henchlings who run #GrowSF are coming out against Prop L in their latest voting guide.

For years #Lyft and #Uber ran at heavy losses providing transportation to the public at artificially low prices, using millions and millions of dollars in venture capital to undercut public-funded transit like #MUNI and #BART.

It is time for them to pay their fair share.
