I saw this prediction sign tonight and was shocked. There's always a 49.

We're already seeing what'll happen if we don't shore up our transit funding situation with tax revenue. You, too, will get to your stop and see no bus coming.

Like the poster says, if you're a San Francisco voter, please sign both petitions—one for a local measure to fund Muni, one for a regional one to fund BART, Caltrain, and more. We need both to keep our buses coming into the future.

The Bay Area regional transit measure is not a “bailout” for #BART & #Muni because they are failing. It’s simply addressing the problem that our agencies rely too much on fares to survive. It’s normal and right for our cities to subsidize public #transit, just like nearly every other major city.
