In #Denmark in the fall, when the temperature is high and drops suddenly in the evening, fog is often trapped in depressions in the landscape.

True to legend we say, the "bog woman is brewing", and the weather phenomenon is called mosekonebryg ("bog woman brew"). In the fairytales of H. C. Andersen this sight is described as a dangerous opening to hell.

I photographed this mosekonebryg in #Grejsdalen north of #Vejle today.
