I read there was a raid on ... a dangerous armed group in the Phillipines.

Lots of police, and army too AIUI, went to destroy it.

But, rather dreadfully, the social etiquette on that island was to shoot strangers carrying guns.

So it turned into a death trap and, from memory, +60 police and army were killed.

It'll depend on what your community does if/when doors start getting kicked in.
