What is a ‘#GoodAncestor’?

I’m seeing this a lot and wondering how folk choose to interpret it?

Maybe my current mindset, but I see these dark times offering more or less sinister undertones to what could be as simple as ‘act mindful of your consequences a bit further into the future than you’re used to’.

Is Good Ancestor a useful framing? How do we be one? What characteristics are relevant/ useful?

More than ever we need ministries to represent young and future generations, to understand and analyse middle- and long-term trends, problems as well as issues and define action plans to act on them and close the abyss left by short-term and opportunistic mentality overall present in political actors and government institutions.
