I often wonder what first time viewers make of this movie, because it really is unlike anything else I've ever seen.
From the poster, it looks like some sort of police religious serial killer movie, but it turns into the craziest ideas. 😵💫

Not even 15 minutes in, and it's already gotten personally weird for Peter, with his wife and affairs. 🙄
#GodToldMeTo is a wild one.
I've always enjoyed the Story of Lot.
Such determination to boink one's daughters after burning down the whole city and killing one's wife is admirable.
God Told Me To (1976)
Directed by Larry Cohen, this is one weird film. I quite liked it, a police procedural with a twist. Featuring a surprise Andy Kaufman. Reminded me of Cure (1997), but madder. Also just great to see New York in the 70s on screen.
