God Eater Resurrection #12: The Aegis Project

God Eater Resurrection #12: The Aegis Project

Well, as it turns out, Director Schicksal's target was exactly what I had feared it would be, but the game didn't even give me a choice to take his side. Which I appreciate.
Also, there's a major spoiler in what we learned about Schicksal and, more importantly, the Aegis Project today, so I'm not going to summarize that.
But we did engage a few more Deusphages today—they are a special “subgroup” of Aragami, whose name conveniently translates to “God Eater” 🤪 Funnily enough, the fight with the Deusphage variant of the Aragami I've been having more trouble with—the Borg Camlann—was quite unproblematic. Even finished in under 4 minutes!
As always, I hope everyone enjoyed today's stream. Thank you all for joining
Also, don't forget to vote on the current game selection poll if you haven't done so already.
And, finally, don't forget Germany's switch to DST during the night between Saturday and Sunday this weekend, which means that starting next week, all streams are going to start an hour earlier relative to UTC. If you live in the EU or otherwise shift your clocks an hour forward this weekend, this does not change anything for you.
Content warning: Game(s) to stream after Watch Dogs
God Eater Resurrection #11: Lindow's Armlet

Well, err, that Dyaus Pita x Prithvi Mata mission sure was touch and go
But hey, we got through it. Barely.
On other news: Shio is now... away because she sensed something at Aegis Island that made her want to devour it. Surely this doesn't have anything to do with "the 'Project'" (as Director Schicksal calls it) and him sending us out to terminate an exceptionally intelligent and dangerous Aragami, right? Right?
For now, we've been "procrastinating" a bit, taking care of Free missions again, of which there are still two left over that we'll tackle next time. Two (sort of) asshole missions where the targets don't have shared vulnerabilities. Oh, well. I hope we'll manage.
As always, I hope everyone enjoyed today's stream. Thank you all for joining
God Eater Resurrection #10: Business As Usual

God Eater Resurrection #9: The Aragami's New Clothes

Hm. So when Director Schicksal said that these special assignments needed to be done in utmost secrecy and on my own, he meant without the main members of the squad? Because I could still roll out with Kanon, Tatsumi and Shun this time
I mean, I appreciate I didn't have to face this Aragami on my own, but… that's kind of odd, isn't it?
On other news: We got Shio out of the rags she's been in! She got an absolutely adorable dress/shorts combo made by Licca from Aragami materials we… procured, and she was so happy she burst into song. Soma and her also seem to have some sort of connection going. I'm happy for them!
Next time, it looks like we might encounter a certain someone again. While we head out to clear our first Difficulty 6 mission. Let's see how that goes.
As always, I hope everyone enjoyed today's stream. Thank you all for joining
God Eater Resurrection #8: Blaze It!

So, turns out the Blaze loadout which I thought was not particularly effective is actually pretty powerful? What the heck?
Also, we're starting to see the first variations in the pain-in-the-ass Aragami, i.e. Borg Camlann and Sariel. Though I suppose our equipment is also coming along, so it remains to be seen how I perform against them
On other news: Shio is going to join us for a mission. Dr. Sakaki called it a date—a joyous occasion for everyone! The mission: Get food for Shio. Sounds easy, right?
As always, I hope everyone enjoyed today's stream. Thank you all for joining
