Whew, God Eater Resurrection is done! As usual, this means that there won't be any summary (because spoilers). Feel free to check out the recording if you're interested, though.

Since we're now done with the first game, that means the stream slot is now open for the second game in the series—God Eater 2 Rage Burst (which is, similar to GE:R, an expansion). I'll start streaming that on Friday this week.

Well, we ended up not doing enough in order to fight the Second Nova; However, the game is partly at fault for that, what with throwing us into a fight with multiple medium to large size Aragami with only Annette and Federico. Federico had no personal abilities to speak of, but we managed to take care of that a bit. Not much, but a bit. Hopefully, we'll get to the Second Nova next time.

Huh. So since the Second Nova has been devouring other Aragami to take in other Bias Factors (which is the reason God Arcs have lost their effectiveness against it), we decided to do the same. By devouring cores of rare Aragami, the effectiveness of our weapons is increased while also starving the Second Nova of sources of improvement. Two birds with one stone, I guess.

Also, we're now in Difficulty 13, the second-to-last difficulty in the game, so we're creeping closer to the end of the game. I suppose the "at most two hours of free missions per stream" rule has been assisting with that somewhat

Well, we did find the Second Nova, and we did defeat it, but we also didn't defeat it, and ended up with Kota, Alisa and Soma being incapacitated and currently recovering in the infirmary. Well. That's not great. Especially since the Second Nova is apparently pretty much impervious to God Arcs now? What the fuck.

Hm. Looks like we're (kind of) back to the same situation as in the first story arc—apparently, the Nova fragments that Soma has been collecting and storing at Aegis Island have turned into a new Aragami, dubbed “Second Nova” (very creative, that name could have come from me). So now we're searching for and planning to subjugate said Aragami. Guess we'll find out if that means shit will hit the fan again
