You might not know it, but on sundays everything is closed in Germany. The only things that do open are gas stations, bakerys and everything gastronomy.
That being said, sundays are quite here; especially in the country...

Except it is 6:15 in the morning and some guys slam their car doors. And that brings me to the question: why do car doors still have to be slammed? With all the technologies we have, this still has to be a thing?
Asking for a friend...

After having just eaten a very decent glazed Berliner from Aldi (along with, in the same sitting, a glazed Spritzring), here is my Berliner Hierarchy, in descending order of how much I would like to eat one:

Berliner with granulated sugar > Glazed Berliner > Berliner with powdered sugar

Being an #expat is an exercise in constant #culturalDifferences . In #germany everything is a form. Even the parents' night at school is a series of forms, in a structure. We just had to vote for the parents' representative, and there was just one candidate. But we had to fill out the vote forms and tally them out loud, regardless. #germanlife #Formulare #Formulare #Formulare
