- small schedule changes on the #mwrta, including shifts in the 495 connector schedule. none seem significant enough to address its on time performance, but i guess better than nothing
- #gatra is finally going fare free! fixed routes only as is typical https://www.gatra.org/fare-free-fixed-route-and-ada-service-starts-october-1-2025/
two big #rta things today:
#gatra belatedly announcing the beginning of its "gateway link" route connecting fall river, taunton, and brockton. it's funny that it's starting a couple months after scr but it does serve taunton proper, so it has that over scr. hourly local service with a two hour run time, in addition to bihourly express service from fall river to brockton (a gatra route that doesn't serve gatra territory...). i will be interested to see how its on time performance is...

- great barrington #tritownconnector expansion to sheffield as well as longer service hours
- a new #lexpress bus, why not

#gatra added full sunday service (matching saturday frequencies), and it went well, at first. but now...

the first two explicitly have to do labor issues, not sure about the last one
#gatra is apparently expanding their sunday service to *all routes*, instead of the select few added in october. i'm going to assume that the medway shuttle, for example, won't run, but their press release certainly makes it seem so. schedules will be the same as saturday schedules, which is always good to see
also, they still have not updated their #gtfs nor their website (which is built off their gtfs) to recognize the sunday service added in october...
