🚨 EMERGENCY SOS: STRANDED AT AIRPORT

I am standing at the rental counter right now. I am shaking and wanting to die. I'm so fucked up right now I just misgendered myself for the first time in 5 years.

I thought I had calculated everything perfectly. I have the reservation. I have the rental cost covered.

But I did not know about the mandatory $250 security deposit hold they charge ON TOP OF (rather than alongside) the rental fee at the moment of pickup.

I am $60 short. They won't give me a refund (that won't force me to wait several more days). They won't even negotiate for a cheaper car.

The system will not release the keys until this hold clears. I cannot leave. I am completely stuck at the airport because I Ubered here, and I will bankrupt myself if I try to go anywhere else.

And the terrifying reality is: even if I scrape together this $60 to get the keys, that leaves me with $0.00 for gas or food for the 15-hour drive to Pittsburgh.

I'm so close to being out. And so close to giving up.

I am asking for immediate, emergency help to bridge this gap so I can get in the car and leave. Please. I am so close.
