I giorni scorsi sono stati spettacolari, fra la visita al Teide e la scoperta di nuovi punti panoramici da cui guardare il mondo dall'alto.

Oggi mi ritrovo a #garachico, paese distrutto da una eruzione nel 1706 e poi totalmente ricostruito, che trovo ogni volta più confusionario. Tempo fa il sottofondo era l'oceano; ora è il rumore dei motori e del traffico: destino comune a tutta l'isola.

A Siamese Stroll

I spotted this stunning Siamese Cat in the town of Garachico in Tenerife recently. He was wandering across the street near the Plaza Juan González de la Torre.

Despite my calling him, he just walked on up the street, ignoring me, but he did give one look back as he walked past some rubbish bins, and out of sight.
