SAVE OUR METRO'S ‼️🚨

The municipality wants to reroute Metro 53 (Gasperplas - Central Station), cutting off large parts of Bijlmer from the rest of the city. These areas are already underfunded, isolated, and neglected by the municipality, and now they are again targeted.

Sign the petition to stop the rerouting of the metro, share, and join the protest on December 9th, 18:00 at the Municipal building (Stopera).

I'm the gardener at my local #sailclub, on the #Gaasperplas, near Amsterdam.

Once a year we play host to an #openwater #swimming event. With a few hundred folks day-camping on the terrain. https://www.het-y.nl/openwater-zwemmen/

It's happening today and I've been bumbling about the club grounds getting ready all week. I'm really proud and happy with the result.

I've spent the last few years working on getting the terrain to this state. With some thought, and work on long term plans I have achieved a good balance; with many nature friendly corners, but also plenty of space for club activities.
