The unexpected, but rather wonderful, former Toledo Cinema on Clarkston Road in the Muirend area of Glasgow. Designed by William Beresford Inglis, it was built in 1933 as an Atmospheric Cinema in a Spanish American fantasy style and could seat 1,598.

An inscribed concrete block in Knightswood Park in Glasgow. Similar blocks can be found at various points in the city (such as at Kelvinbridge), and appear to have been created as alternative to standard concrete bollards. They certainly add an extra bit of interest to the streets.
